We traveled to eight host cities to film city and celebrity montages for FIFA, alongside additional clips developed as stringouts for broadcasters to use throughout the FIFA World Cup.

CONTEXT
A campaign built one city at a time.
FIFA needed city and celebrity montages produced across eight World Cup host cities, plus additional clips developed as stringouts for broadcasters to use throughout the tournament.

One methodology, eight markets.
Covering eight cities meant designing a production approach that could travel — city and celebrity montages, plus broadcaster-ready stringouts, repeated market to market without losing craft or consistency.

CREATIVE DIRECTION
Directed and shot on the ground, city by city.
Kiely served as Creative Director and Filmmaker (DP) across the campaign, shaping the visual approach for each market and shooting the majority of the footage personally.

PRODUCTION
Eight cities, on the ground.
Monterrey, Mexico City, Atlanta, Vancouver, New York/New Jersey, Philadelphia, Kansas City, and Guadalajara — each with its own city montage and celebrity montage. In Atlanta, New York/New Jersey, and Philadelphia, Kiely also edited; Kansas City was shot and edited without a separate Creative Director credit.
